Can it be done?

The answer is yes. You can advice the seller to request the Trustee Docket from the bankruptcy attorney. The Docket will show case number and Trustee name, number and fax number. You then need to file a motion to sell with the Trustee. You need to provide the Trustee with these items: HUD1, contract to purchase and Lenders approval letter for short sale. As long as there no equity and no funds from short sale can be given to the seller, the trustee should be approved. It will take about 20 days for an approval.
